The sections I'm using are about 8 seconds "clips" from a 1m40s h.264 video file. The output file is the correct length and the audio is fine but the rendered video is stuck on a single frame about half way through. ![]() My renders TO video still freeze upon render. But "avfoundation", after just a few starts and stops it starts freezing up and Reaper won't even quit at that point. I can work for a good while with that one. The only codec I've had any success with at this point is "qt". I can't see any other docs about installing codecs but I may be missing step or two here to get VLC into Reaper. I downloaded and ran VLC 2.2.1 but when I put VLC first and relaunch Reaper the video codec still uses "avfoundation". I'm on a Mac OS 10.9.5 and I can't seem to get the VLC codes to load in Reaper. ![]() Its been better while editing but when I went to render TO a movie file, the video would get to a random-ish frame and freeze on a frame for the remainder of the rendered video file (watching the render output progress it played through the whole selection fine), whereas the audio render was fine in the entire rendered output file. I've used it some today and its behaving better (I was trying qt as the first today). I'll move avfoundation to the front and see how it goes. ![]() Thanks for this - FWIW the order it was in was this:
